Luxaflex Pirouette Shades
As a proud Luxaflex Inspirational Dealer, we are able to offer you the entire Luxaflex catalogue, including the remarkable Pirouette® shades. Pirouette® Shades are designed to bring more beauty, better light control, and privacy to your space. So whether you’re looking for something stylish or practical, these binds offer the best of both worlds.
A Unique Blend of Blinds and Curtains
With a signature flowing design, Pirouette® shades look like modern drapery but come with the convenience and control of blinds. They feature unique soft fabric ‘floating’ vanes attached to a sheer backing which give you complete control over your home’s natural light.
The fabric slats create the illusion that they are floating, thanks to a special system that connects them.
Here’s how they work: The shades have soft fabric vanes that sit between two layers of sheer fabric. When you pull a cord or press a button, these vanes either flatten out to block sunlight or curve slightly to let light through. The curved shape of the fabric is what gives them that ‘floating’ look – like the fabric is suspended in midair, almost hovering.
PowerView Automation
With the optional PowerView Automation, you can schedule your shades to open and close at specific times of the day, making your home more energy efficient. Use the PowerView® app, remote control, or sync with smart home systems like Google Home or Amazon Alexa. This technology brings convenience and luxury to your fingertips.
Pirouette® Shades vs. Traditional Blinds
Soft Fabric Design
Pirouette® shades offer a unique, flowing look that traditional blinds can’t match. While both can control light and provide privacy, Pirouette® shades have an elegant appearance that softens the feel of any room. Traditional blinds tend to be more rigid and often look less decorative.
Greater Light Control
Arguably its most standout feature – Pirouette® shades allow for more precise control over the amount of natural light entering the room. With traditional blinds, you’re often limited to fully open, fully closed, or slightly tilted slats for light adjustment.
Sheer Backing
The sheer backing adds an extra layer of softness to your windows – particularly useful in spaces where you want to enjoy daylight without the intensity of direct sunlight, such as living rooms or home offices.
UV Protection
Not only do these shades diffuse light for day-to-day convenience and comfort, they also protect your furniture and flooring. Pirouette® shades block up to 81% of harmful UV rays with the vanes open, and 99% with vanes closed, extending the life of your furnishings.
